Snickers Cheesecake Salad

Here is a recipe I also got from allrecipes.com that I have adapted to my own liking and needs for the class. I needed a recipe that I could do seasonal fruits for the class. My classes change at the semester and so I do this recipe around September and then again in March, two different fruit growing seasons. With this recipe you can change the fruits to what you have on hand what you like. I didn't want to use canned fruits, so this is what I came up with. So don't feel that you need to use these fruits, change it up if you want.

2 crisp apples, cored and chopped into bite-sized pieces
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 (5.9 oz) instant pudding mix, cheesecake or vanilla flavored
1/2 cup milk
1/2 container (12 oz.) whipped topping
1 bunch of grapes, cut in half
2 Snickers bars (3.5 oz), chopped into bite-sized pieces
1/2 pkg (8 oz.) chilled cream cheese, cut into small cubes

In a small bowl, combine the chopped apples with the lemon juice; set aside. In a large plastic container, stir together the pudding mix and milk; let set for a few minutes. When pudding becomes thick, fold in the whipped topping until well combined; then stir in the apples and grapes. Gently stir in the chopped Snickers and cubed cream cheese.
Cover, chill overnight before serving.

Note, that the classes don't let it chill overnight, and you can tell. The cream cheese is really strong. I just don't have the space for them to let it sit overnight, so they don't.
