This is one recipe I love to make in class. The kids really seem to like it. We take the basic refrigerator dough I put on earlier. I would link it, but I am not sure how. Just go under breads, and it is there. You can also use the Italian Cheese bread recipe if you need a quicker bread.
Breakfast Pizza
1/2 lb sausage
1 cup hash brown potatoes
1 cup shredded cheese
1/4 tsp pepper
3 eggs
1/4 cup milk
Place dough on a greased 12 in. pizza pan. Pat the dough down into a circle, creating a lip on the outside of the crust (a very important step, my students don't do it, and the egg runs off onto the bottom of the oven, and they don't like cleaning it up). Bake at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes.
In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Once completly cooked, place on a paper towel and pat out the oil. Sprinkle the sausage, hash browns and 1/2 of the chedder cheese over the crust. In a bowl, beat the eggs, milk and pepper. Pour egg mixture over the pizza. Sprinkle on the rest of the cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 28 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and eggs are no longer runny. Let stand about 8 minutes before cutting.
